KENNEL SUPERVISOR NEEDED

Animal Assistance League of Orange County (AALOC) is looking to hire a Kennel Supervisor to manage the care of the rescued animals at our no-kill shelter.  

We are looking for an individual who has a minimum of one year experience in a supervisory position as well as a minimum of one year experience tending to dogs, cats and rabbits in a kennel, veterinarian office or similar environment. This position would be full time, daytime hours only, with the ability to work weekends and some holidays. The candidate should be an excellent leader who is reliable, flexible, compassionate, has a great work ethic and dependable transportation. 

Duties will include (but are not limited to) managing the day to day at the kennel, hands on care with animals (cleaning kennels, feeding, administering medication), ordering inventory, staff scheduling, assisting community with needs, and occasionally transporting animals to the vet.  

Pay is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience. Drug testing required prior to hiring.
