TINKERBELL
Adopted January 1, 2021
Everyone has suffered in 2020 in one way or another because of the pandemic. One woman became homeless and began living in her car – along with her six small dogs, including two females that were pregnant and soon to give birth. The vehicle did not have air conditioning during the hottest part of the year in Southern California and it was more and more difficult to keep them healthy and fed. Realizing the danger the dogs were in, and with great sadness, she surrendered the dogs to AALOC.
We are happy to report Ladybug, one of the pregnant females, had her litter of four incredibly adorable puppies. Tinkerbell was one of the female puppies and she now has a new home with a family to call her own. Chris, a retired wildlife rehabilitator who has owned some unusual pets, and her husband John welcomed Tinkerbell into their life. Canine sister Missy was also happy to get a new friend. Tinkerbell will grow up in a perfect environment with all the love she needs. Thank you Chris and John for making this possible for little Tink!
MISCHIEF
Adopted December 18, 2020
Mother Faith was pregnant and on the street, alone, before she was spotted and scooped up by the AALOC team. What could have been a horrible start to life for Faith’s five kittens (two females and three males) turned into one of the best things that could possibly happen to this feline family.
Mischief is one of Faith’s three male kittens. Mischief is anything but Mischief. He is one big smile packaged in a little grey kitty. Chelsea and Devin were looking for a feline bestie for their existing cat Dodgson and chose Mischief for this important role.
Thank you Chelsea and Devin for welcoming Mischief into your family. We hope Dodgson and Mischief will be friends for many, many years.
BRUCE
Adopted December 18, 2020
We all know that picking the right neighborhood is very important. Bruce might have been a stray or feral, living on the streets, although he was so sweet and friendly he also might have been previously owned. In any case, at least he choose to live on the streets in AALOC’s neighborhood. AALOC’s team was able to capture him and have him neutered.
Katie came to AALOC looking for a female cat but fell in love with this handsome orange and white tabby with golden eyes and a pink button nose instead. We know Bruce will be a good companion to Katie and are very confident Katie will give Bruce the love, the life and the home he needed.
Thank you Katie for choosing one of the cats at AALOC and in particularly for giving Bruce a new start to life this holiday season.
JASMINE

We are happy to report Ladybug, one of the pregnant females, had her litter of four incredibly adorable puppies. Jasmine was one of the female puppies and she now has a new home with a family to call her own just before Christmas. This adorable female puppy was adopted by parents Michael and Christy, daughter Corrina and son Tyler. The young children were so sweet to little Jasmine and the love shown by the whole family to Jasmine in the photos above will bring smiles and tears. Christy sent the photos with a note saying: "So much puppy love." Priceless!
Thank you Michael, Christy, Corrina and Tyler for giving Jasmine a home and a wonderful life growing up with you all.
