LUCAS
Adopted December 10, 2020
Everyone has suffered in 2020 in one way or another because of the pandemic. One woman became homeless and began living in her car – along with her six small dogs, including two females that were pregnant and soon to give birth. The vehicle did not have air conditioning during the hottest part of the year in Southern California and it was more and more difficult to keep them healthy and fed. Realizing the danger the dogs were in, and with great sadness, she surrendered the dogs to AALOC.
We are happy to report Ladybug, one of the pregnant females, had her litter of four incredibly adorable puppies. Lucas was one of the male puppies and he now has a new home with a family to call his own just before Christmas. This little tyke never even was listed for adoption because Jose, Carmin and daughter Maricarmen took one look and raised their hands to take him home. Lucas put on his best tie and was ready for this lovely family to pick him up. He now rules the house and Maricarmen sent a note with the Christmas photo saying: "My mom adores him."
Thank you Jose, Carmin and Maricarmen for accepting the lifelong responsibility of pet ownership and for choosing Lucas. We are so happy Lucas will own a place in your home and your hearts.

We are happy to report Ladybug, one of the pregnant females, had her litter of four incredibly adorable puppies. Annie was one of the female puppies and she became the best Christmas present Chelsie, her new owner, could get. There was instant karma when they met for the first time and a new cage, a new toy, and a new bed showed how Chelsie had prepared for her new little friend's arrival. And even though Annie was at first a little shy Chelsie sent a note saying Annie's quite spunky for the little bit of fluff that she is.
Thank you so much for adopting Annie and giving her the love and home she needed Chelsie!

We are happy to report Ladybug, one of the pregnant females, had her litter of four incredibly adorable puppies. Lola was one of the female puppies born at Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach , one of AALOC's best veterinarian partners. Leo, a team member at Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach, saw the little angel, and mentioned Lola to his relatives Ricardo and Leticia. Ricardo and Leticia were instantly smitten and came to take Lola home when she could be weaned from Ladybug.
So many thanks on this one because all these puppies might not have made it were it not for the amazing care they and momma dog Ladybug received at Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach. Best of all Lola found her forever home with Ricardo and Leticia. We are so grateful to all for saving this beautiful litter of puppies and to Ricardo and Leticia for adopting Lola.
NICOLE
Adopted November 12, 2020
Although a very happy event, taking a dog or cat to a new forever home can still be stressful. They generally need time to adjust to new surroundings, new people, new routines and new smells. Not so for little Nicole! The instant she met her new owner Vickey she knew it was a good thing and jumped right into her lap. Vickey is retired so she’ll have plenty of time to lavish Nicole with love and plans to take Nicole with her everywhere. If that isn’t already enough than Vickey’s mom will also be available to treat Nicole like the princess she always deserved to be.
Thank you Vickey for selecting Nicole and making this adorable and affectionate pup part of your life. We wish you both lives filled with many happy tails!
