ABOUT LOUIE

Louis is a 3-year-old mixed breed who was found in Fountain Valley in early February by two young girls who didn’t want to take him to the shelter. He was then fostered by someone responding to a “found” posting on social media. He was great with her young children. He was okay with her dogs in the beginning but after about a week, she leashed Louie to take him for a walk and reported that her other dog attacked Louie unprovoked. While her dog was biting Louie’s leg, she was bitten by Louie trying to stop the attack. Louie was taken to a vet for treatment and recovered at OC Animal Care Center.

Louie healed but no owner came for him. AALOC rescued Louie who is now up for adoption through AALOC as an only pet. Louie is a larger dog, about 70 pounds. He is a sweet, loving, and playful pooch.

Please complete an application to adopt Louie. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Louie and get to know him a bit.

Adoption donation of $165 per dog includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies click here to view our dog adoption requirements.
