Tuffy
None of it ever makes sense to pets that are abandoned: one moment they are in a warm, loving home and the next moment they are in a shelter. That’s how Tuffy came to be at the Animal Assistance League of Orange County Humane Center.
Tuffy is the quintessential mackerel tabby. His coat is dark brown and black but his chest and paws are pure white. He has the biggest, most beautiful, round green eyes west of the Rockies. All Tuffy wants is a new home with a pet parent who will love him forever. He is a bit shy at first but will begin to trust again with a little patience. For this reason, we are recommending an adult-only home that can provide him with a calm environment and time to acclimate.
Please submit an application to adopt Tuffy. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Tuffy and get to know him a bit.
Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances.
