Spooky
Spooky, a young black, domestic short-hair female, was brought to AALOC by a kind woman who found Spooky in her neighborhood. When Spooky arrived she was famished, both for food and for the security of knowing she was safe.
Black cats are considered lucky in many countries:
- In England black cats are sometimes wedding gifts because it is thought they bring good luck to the bride
- In Asia a black cat is thought to be lucky and in Scotland it signifies prosperity.
- In the southern part of France black cats are considered magical – individuals who feed and treat black cats humanely expect to receive good luck
Spooky is looking for a family that will feel they are very lucky to have this precious little black cat.
Please submit an application to adopt Spooky. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Spooky and get to know her a bit.
Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit.
