Spencer
Spencer, a long-haired all-black cat with a big bushy tail, was rescued by one of the AALOC employees from an area that was populated with predominantly feral cats. He absolutely did not belong on the street with that group! Spencer gets along great with the other cats at AALOC and although Spencer is a bit shy when meeting new humans, he enjoys getting attention from new acquaintances. We feel Spencer could very easily transition into a household with other felines.
Black cats are considered lucky in many countries:
- In England black cats are sometimes wedding gifts because it is thought they bring good luck to the bride
- In Asia a black cat is thought to be lucky and in Scotland it signifies prosperity.
- In the southern part of France black cats are considered magical – individuals who feed and treat black cats humanely expect to receive good luck
Please submit an application to adopt Spencer. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Spencer and get to know him a bit.
